Bringin today announced an invite-only beta of euro business accounts that allow companies to hold, accept, and pay in Bitcoin and stablecoins, and to process SEPA payments from a virtual IBAN in the company's name. The launch extends Bringin's consumer platform, which has processed over €15 million according to a press release provided to Bitcoin Magazine.

There is growing demand from European businesses for the advantages of Bitcoin and stablecoins—instant settlement, global reach, and reduced costs. While purchasing Bitcoin in Europe is straightforward, operating a company on Bitcoin and stablecoin rails presents difficulties. Many Europeans encounter bank account limitations and frozen transfers when dealing with Bitcoin or other digital assets. Each conversion to euros introduces inefficiency, transaction records are scattered across separate platforms, and Travel Rule obligations transform straightforward payments into administrative burdens. Consequently, Bitcoin's promise as a medium of exchange becomes mired in red tape.

The Bringin for Business service aims to connect Bitcoin and traditional banking. Per the press release, businesses can add Bitcoin to their treasury, accept payments via Bitcoin, Lightning, or stablecoins, and settle supplier invoices and payroll in Bitcoin. The euro account and the company's Bitcoin wallet exist on a single platform, providing the control and security required by enterprises. A dedicated virtual IBAN—a euro account number in the company's own name—links to SEPA payments, and additional global payment rails are in development.

Private keys are created and held in a hardware security module, not in omnibus exchange wallets. Only authorized company owners can transfer funds, initiate payments, and set approval policies, the press release states.

In a separate initiative, Bringin intends to offer APIs and MCP servers that enable companies to interact with AI agents. With Lightning and stablecoin support, firms can receive payments from artificial intelligence bots, extending Bringin's 2025 proof-of-concept for agent-based payments via the Lightning Network.

“Bitcoin is the first money native to the internet, and Lightning makes it fast enough for everyday commerce. I’ve seen that potential since I started building on it in 2018,” said Prashanth Chandrashekar, founder and CEO of Bringin. “We proved it with consumers first. Now companies can use Bringin to get paid, hold value and move money globally, with accounts designed around self-custody and a seamless payment experience.”

Leveraging the MiCA-authorized infrastructure of Lightspark Payments Europe AS, Bringin for Business is now in a pilot phase with 15 enterprises—including Lightning payment tool providers, mining hardware sellers, and Bitcoin conferences—managing cross-border payments and real-time Bitcoin-to-euro conversions. The service is available to companies in 30 European countries.
