Bitcoin Capital Summit
Held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on November 10 at BINAES in San Salvador, the Bitcoin Capital Summit is put on by Luca Esposito of Blockstream Capital Partners in cooperation with the Bitcoin Office. The evening is built around Bitcoin’s institutional era, from treasury to capital markets. On the agenda are a welcome from Esposito, a keynote delivered by Sean Bill, formerly CIO of BSTR at Blockstream, and a panel on the institutional Bitcoin stack with Pierre Rochard, CEO of The Bitcoin Company, and Juan Diego Sol, IBEX’s Central America Regional Manager. Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert are also scheduled for a closing fireside chat, with other panel discussions included. Admission is free, but registration on the official Luma page must be approved.
Bitcoin Histórico
Taking place November 11-12 across San Salvador’s Centro Histórico, Bitcoin Histórico will feature keynotes inside the National Palace that are streamed live to the large LED screens on Plaza Gerardo Barrios. The National Bitcoin Office organizes the event, which is focused on Bitcoin, financial freedom and the transformation underway in El Salvador. Tickets can be bought only with bitcoin, through bitcoinhistorico.com. The $350 Trailblazer Seat comes with guaranteed seating, access to public sessions, tech demos, community meetups and an invitation to the afterparty; residents with Salvadorian ID can instead purchase the $21 Satoshi Chero ticket.
The $2,100 Genesis Crown Pass includes VIP seating in the National Palace, fast-track entry, a private lounge with meals, an exclusive merch pack and priority networking with the keynote speakers.
Every ticket tier includes complimentary admission to the Renaissance Rodeo the next day. Organizers have shared promo codes CROWN15 and Cowboy21.
Renaissance Rodeo
The debut Renaissance Rodeo takes place November 13 on the edge of Lake Ilopango. Bull riding, mutton busting, barrel racing, music and barbecue make up the program, with the event billed as a celebration of Salvadoran cowboy culture and regenerative agriculture. Information and a waitlist can be found at the official renaissance.rodeo site. Anyone with a Bitcoin Histórico ticket gets in without charge.
