Plasma, Humanity, and SoSoValue are among projects unlocking over $900M in tokens during the last week of September 2026.
More than $900 million worth of tokens are set to enter the crypto market during the fourth week of September 2026. Key projects such as Plasma (XPL), Humanity (H), and SoSoValue (SOSO) are scheduled to unlock substantial amounts of their supplies.
The releases have the potential to create market turbulence and affect near-term price action. Below is a closer look at the unlocks.
Plasma functions as a Layer 1 blockchain designed to improve stablecoin transaction efficiency and scalability. It facilitates USDT transfers without fees, accommodates custom gas tokens, allows confidential payments, and provides the necessary throughput for worldwide adoption.
On September 25, Plasma is set to unlock 1.76 billion tokens. This stack of XPL is valued at $159.91 million. Additionally, these tokens represent 63.2% of the circulating supply.
Both investors and the team are allocated 833.33 million tokens each. Furthermore, 88.89 million XPL will go to ecosystem and growth initiatives.
Humanity (H) is a decentralized identity protocol that uses biometric palm recognition, zero-knowledge proofs, and blockchain to verify real human users without revealing personal data. It features a native Proof of Humanity (PoH) consensus mechanism.
On September 25, the protocol will unlock 266.47 million tokens. These tokens are valued at $19.3 million and account for 7.34% of the released supply.
The released supply will be split six ways among the team. Early contributors receive the largest portion at 79.17 million H, while investors get 55.56 million. The ecosystem fund will take 50 million H, and 42.86 million H are allocated for identity verification rewards. The Human Institute strategic reserve gets 26.39 million H, and the foundation operations treasury rounds out the distribution with 12.50 million H.
SoSoValue is a crypto data and research platform that tracks ETF flows, market signals, funding rounds, and project analytics, along with SSI, its on-chain index product. SOSO, an ERC-20 token, is used for governance and access to SSI.
The platform will unlock 23.46 million SOSO on September 24. This tranche accounts for 5.97% of the released supply and is valued at $6.97 million.
Core contributors and investors each receive an equal 9.17 million SOSO, together making up the majority of the unlock. Additionally, the ecosystem and airdrop allocation gets 2.58 million SOSO, the foundation claims 1.58 million, and partners take 972,220 SOSO, the smallest portion.
Besides these, additional noteworthy unlocks during the same period include STBL (STBL), River (RIVER), Space ID (ID), and others, all adding to the overall supply entering the market.
