Bitcoin's Halloween fright: Key levels determine if rebound or rout follows
Bitcoin faces a test after dropping to $76,300 in October. A rebound must clear $79,000 to convince traders the worst is over.
Pi Network issued four updates for developers and businesses ahead of its first Ecosystem Summit. The PI token, down 13% this month, trades near $0.078.
Pi Network has delivered four updates for developers and enterprises with three weeks to go before its inaugural Ecosystem Summit. The network's token saw little fluctuation and trades at roughly $0.078.
Price declines followed the token's two previous major product events. PI has dropped roughly 13% this month and sits 97% beneath its February 2025 high of $2.99. Whether this batch of changes will affect the PI coin price remains to be seen.
The Developer Portal, used by external developers to build apps with Pi logins and payments, has received a redesigned interface. Access keys, app wallets, and domain settings are now managed from a single location, per the official announcement.
AI coding assistants including Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex now have the ability to package applications for SoloHost. This service allows users to host applications locally via Pi Desktop.
The Pi BlockExplorer, a public site tracking on-chain activity, has started charting prices for trial tokens like SLICE. According to Pi, these test tokens are not intended for the live network.
PiVerify, the identity verification service Pi offers to other companies, now includes checks for duplicate faces and repeated live-person prompts to combat fraudulent accounts. Pi states that business clients pay for this service in PI.

Token demand from Pi's model comes through two channels. Businesses pay for PiVerify using PI, and Launchpad projects are required to pool the PI they raise.
However, PI traded around $0.27 ahead of the March 14 Pi Day release before dropping by roughly 33% within a week. Following the June 28 Pi2Day launches, it declined by about 12% over an eight-day period, according to CoinGecko data.
Pi has not revealed pricing or client counts for PiVerify. Nor has the project established a date for its first live Launchpad token.
PI did hold its ground this week. The Pi Network price has risen by about 2% since the Binance security breach drained roughly $6.15 billion on October 29.
The virtual summit takes place from November 17 to 19, featuring app demonstrations and a hackathon. Launchpad timing and PiVerify demand are still open questions as the event approaches.
