BOK to Draft Forex Amendment for Stablecoin Rules as Crypto Bill and Tax Debate Reach Critical Point
South Korea's central bank announced plans to regulate stablecoins under foreign exchange law. The country's crypto tax and digital asset bill face…
Mason Lynaugh says crypto voters are a low-propensity swing bloc that could decide the midterms and expects the most pro-Bitcoin Congress in history.
The midterm elections are set for November 3, and the party balance in Congress that emerges could determine the direction of Bitcoin and digital-asset policy for years. Mason Lynaugh, Executive Director of Stand With Crypto, appears alongside Grace Remington and Sean Hagan to lay out the closing push: 3.1 million advocates, 50 state chapters, 47 college chapters and 45 endorsed candidates. He argues that crypto voters are the low-propensity swing bloc that campaigns spend millions trying to locate. The Clarity Act and GENIUS Act votes, he says, show the issue has bipartisan support. Whatever the outcome, he expects the next Congress to be the most pro-Bitcoin in history.
Stand With Crypto's voter hub brings together the essentials in one place: checking registration, finding the deadline for one's state, and seeing where candidates stand on crypto.
The discussion also turns to the campaign to make the next Congress the most pro-Bitcoin in history and to races that could be decided by hundreds of votes or tens of thousands of advocates. Other topics include the bipartisan support of 100 Democrats for the Clarity Act and the GENIUS Act vote, the climb in A-rated lawmakers from 90 to 338 in three years, why some Democrats still oppose crypto and how skeptics come around, organizing against anti-Bitcoin lawmakers, Fair Shake's $95 million versus volunteer phone calls, the GENIUS Act rollout, disappointment with the Clarity Act, and why AI advocates are allies.
