Justin Sun announces a $66 million math prize but provides no evidence the funds exist.
Justin Sun has announced that his newly created "Justin Sun Prize" will officially launch, with $1 million awarded to anyone who solves and verifies 66 mathematical problems.
The catch is that Sun has provided no evidence that $66 million is available to pay those who succeed.
Sun posted on X to unveil the competition and drew a direct parallel to the Nobel Prize, noting that Alfred Nobel created his prize after being called "The Merchant of Death" and worrying about his legacy.
Sun did not explain why he might feel similarly about his own standing, but he has recently been caught up in an acrimonious split and surrogacy dispute with Chinese actress Jing Tian that has turned mainland opinion strongly against him.
Justin Sun’s egg story keeps getting worse

Sun's troubles go beyond the animosity Chinese citizens apparently hold for him: he recently filed a lawsuit against the Trump family related to his personal stake in World Financial, and he has also faced a lawsuit from the SEC.
Worryingly, while Sun has clearly spelled out the Justin Sun Prize's rules and stated that winners will receive USDT or USDC instead of US dollars sent to a bank account, no public wallet containing the funds has been disclosed.
He has also indicated that he can only deposit money into the prize pool, not withdraw it, and says the prize pool address will be open for public inspection.
The difficulty is that no publicly verifiable address with funds for the 66 unsolved math problems exists. Effectively, the prize has no prize.
Protos contacted The Justin Sun Prize for a public wallet we could check and received no reply.
