Austria's FMA has granted BingX EU a MiCAR license, allowing the Vienna-based platform to offer regulated crypto services in 29 EEA countries.
VIENNA, October 15, 2026 — BingX EU (MEGE zweite GmbH) has been granted a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA or MiCAR) license by Austria’s Financial Market Authority (FMA). The approval will enable the platform to deliver regulated crypto services in 29 countries across the European Economic Area (EEA), depending on continuing passporting arrangements.
The move is an important step in BingX’s push into Europe, giving EEA users access to digital asset services through a single regulatory framework built around transparency, security and investor protection.
The license lines up with BingX EU’s long-term commitment to responsible growth in Europe. As digital assets become more closely woven into the financial system, clear regulation is key to building user trust, encouraging institutional participation and supporting sustainable development of the industry. By working through its regulated European entity, BingX EU will offer compliant crypto services tailored to the changing needs of retail and institutional clients throughout the EEA.
“Our priority is to provide European users with trusted and locally regulated trading experience,” said BingX EU Chief Executive Officer Daniel Lai. “Operating under MiCAR will allow us to deliver our services under a clear regulatory framework that gives users confidence while supporting the long-term development of Europe’s digital ecosystem. It also enables us to combine innovation with the high standards of security, transparency and accountability that European users and institutions expect. We believe this foundation can help create a more accessible and sustainable environment for the continued adoption of digital assets across the region.”
Going forward, BingX EU will cooperate closely with Austria’s FMA and other European regulators as it readies the launch of regulated services in the EEA. BingX EU will stay within Europe’s regulatory framework and provide users with secure, transparent and compliant access to digital asset services.
Vienna-headquartered MEGE zweite GmbH, which operates as BingX EU, is a crypto-asset platform regulated under MiCAR and licensed as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP). Serving customers in 29 EEA countries, BingX EU runs fully regulated operations in line with European standards for investor protection and market integrity. Through its MiCAR authorization, BingX EU operates a platform offering regulated services such as crypto custody, exchange and other crypto services.
BingX, established in 2018, has more than 40 million users worldwide and is one of the world’s leading multi-asset trading platforms. It has served as Chelsea FC’s Principal Partner since 2024 and became the Official Team Partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP in 2026.
