LayerZero, Plasma, and Humanity will unlock over $793.6 million in tokens in late October 2026, with allocations per project.
New tokens worth over $793.6 million are due in the crypto market during the fourth week of October 2026. Key projects such as LayerZero (ZRO), Plasma (XPL), and Humanity (H) are among those releasing large amounts of new supply.
These unlocks could bring price volatility and affect short-term valuations. The following is a look at the most notable unlocks.
LayerZero is a cross-chain interoperability protocol that lets decentralized applications communicate across multiple blockchains, bypassing conventional bridge models.
On October 20, the project will unlock 23.28 million tokens, equal to 3.83% of the released supply and worth about $43.54 million.
Of these unlocked tokens, 10.99 million ZRO go to strategic partners, 10.63 million ZRO to core contributors, and 1.67 million ZRO are from a token buyback.
Plasma is a Layer 1 blockchain focused on stablecoin efficiency and scalability, offering zero-fee USDT transfers, custom gas tokens, confidential payments, and throughput for global scale.
On October 25, Plasma will unlock 227.78 million XPL, valued at $17.50 million and representing 5.02% of its released supply.
The unlocked tokens include 88.89 million XPL for ecosystem and growth, while investors and the team each receive 69.44 million XPL.
Humanity (H) is a decentralized identity protocol using biometric palm recognition, zero-knowledge proofs, and blockchain to verify human users while preserving privacy. It employs a native Proof of Humanity (PoH) consensus mechanism.
On October 25, Humanity will unlock 266.47 million tokens, worth $15.30 million or 6.84% of the supply already released.
The new supply is split six ways. Early contributors get the largest allocation at 79.17 million H, while investors receive 55.56 million tokens.
The ecosystem fund claims 50 million H, and 42.86 million tokens are directed to identity verification rewards.
The Human Institute Strategic Reserve takes 26.39 million H, and the foundation operations treasury receives 12.50 million H.
Also unlocking in the same period are SoSoValue (SOSO), Kaito (KAITO), Bedrock (BR), and others, adding to the overall market-wide supply.
Tokenomist lists these unlocks as pending verification, so the figures are still projections.
