XRP ETFs recorded a 13th consecutive week of inflows, yet the token kept falling and whale deposits to Binance hit a seven-month high.
On October 14, US spot XRP ETFs took in roughly $740,000 in net inflows. That same day, funds tied to Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) and Hyperliquid (HYPE) lost close to $400 million combined.
That was enough to keep XRP funds in positive territory for the week while the token's price kept sliding. At the same time, big wallets have been shifting additional XRP to Binance.
SoSoValue data shows XRP ETFs have now recorded net inflows for 13 consecutive weeks. The previous weekly outflow, roughly $7.2 million, was logged in the seven days through July 10.
Total net inflows have reached a record $1.80 billion. Since the week ending September 25, however, the pace has cooled; that week brought in $75.6 million, and the following two weeks added $4.7 million and $11.3 million.
Zcash (ZEC) funds were the only other products to attract money on October 14, collecting $3.68 million. Their net flow for the current week remains negative at $3.16 million.
This sustained ETF demand has arrived during a weak period for XRP. At press time, the token traded at $1.31, down 5.11% in the previous 24 hours.
That puts XRP roughly 64% below its all-time high of $3.65, reached on July 17, 2025.
The price slide has also reduced XRP ETF net assets from $1.77 billion on September 25 to $1.51 billion. BeInCrypto has already reported that ETF buyers kept purchasing even while their positions were losing money.
Whale addresses, however, have been sending greater amounts of XRP to exchanges. Analyst Arab Chain reported that the 30-day inflow of XRP from whales to Binance reached 1.669 billion XRP.
That is the highest such reading in seven months. In September, the comparable level was about 1.65 billion XRP. More XRP sitting on Binance can increase the supply that is potentially available for sale.
The analyst cautioned, though, that the transfers could stem from wallet reshuffling or other Binance services rather than selling.
XRP is caught between two opposing trends. ETF buyers have remained active for 13 weeks, while whale deposits to Binance are at a seven-month high.
Thus far, XRP has moved with the broader market rather than with its fund flows. Digital asset prices declined following a hotter-than-expected US Consumer Price Index (CPI) release on October 14.
ETF inflows offer some reassurance, but they have yet to show up in price gains. Until that shifts, where XRP heads next probably relies on how the broader market absorbs the inflation report.
