Gate Q3 2026 Report: Derivatives Volume Ranks Third Worldwide as Ecosystem Expands
Gate's Q3 2026 report shows September derivatives volume of $396 billion, a 38.2% month-over-month gain, ranking the exchange third globally.
Dogecoin Labs launched October 21, merging MyDoge, DogeOS, and Such App to build economy for $1 DOGE target.
For years, supporters of Dogecoin (DOGE) have been calling for a $1 price. A recently formed company now says it plans to create the economic foundation that such a target would require.
On October 21, Dogecoin Labs was launched in collaboration with the Dogecoin Foundation. The new entity consolidates the MyDoge wallet, the DogeOS app layer, and the Such App payments tool, with Jordan Jefferson serving as CEO.
Under the arrangement, the non-profit Foundation maintains its responsibilities for open-source development, advocacy, and community activities.
House of Doge (HODO), listed on Nasdaq, will transfer portions of its product, engineering, and commercial operations to Labs. In exchange, it receives an equity stake of an undisclosed amount, as stated in the announcement.
Additionally, House of Doge is relinquishing its exclusive partnership with the Foundation in favor of a long-term license. This license permits it to continue collaborating with 21Shares on Dogecoin exchange-traded products.
Each of the three products is at a different stage of development. MyDoge has surpassed 500,000 users without using paid acquisition. DogeOS launched its public testnet on September 30, while Such App is still in beta.
Almost 13 years after launching as a joke, Dogecoin now has a company!
Dogecoin Labs has launched in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation, bringing DOGE's main product teams under one roof, led by CEO Jordan Jefferson:

Jefferson outlined the reasoning behind merging the three products in the launch announcement. He connected the unified initiative to the community's price objective.
“With DogeOS, developers can finally build applications on Dogecoin, and with MyDoge, they can put those apps in front of users from day one. The community has been saying ‘DOGE to $1’ for years. Our focus is to build the economy that ambition calls for,” he said.
The price has diverged from that target so far this year. DOGE was trading at $0.0799 at the time of writing, based on BeInCrypto Markets data.
Over the last month, the price declined by 21.43%. Since the start of the year, DOGE has dropped 36.8%. To reach $1 from its current level, the token would need to rise by roughly 1,150%.
ETF demand has also shifted. US spot Dogecoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $538,029 between October 1 and 13, according to SoSoValue data.
These outflows come after September, when the funds attracted $3.16 million. That marked their biggest monthly inflow since January, and included a record weekly intake of $2.89 million, BeInCrypto reported.
According to on-chain data from Santiment, recent DOGE purchasers are now at a loss. The firm stated that the token's 365-day Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio is around 0.74.
A value below 1 indicates that recent holders are underwater on average. Santiment characterized this level as a historically lower-risk opportunity zone.
Upcoming signals will come from two sources. Weekly data from SoSoValue will indicate whether ETF buyers come back following October's outflows.
In the meantime, Labs intends to connect Such App's merchant tools with DogeOS, which is still in its public testnet. The company stated that the three products collectively establish the foundation for DOGE payments at scale.
